What we believe...

  1. The Bible is the infallible and inerrant Word of God, revealing to man what the Lord God wants us to know about Him and what His plan of salvation is.

  2. There is only One True God revealed in three persons - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (the Trinity).

  3. That Jesus Christ is at the same time, fully God and fully man.

  4. That man was created in the image of God, but chose to willfully disobey God and as such sin & evil came into the world and with sin came death - that which is the wages of sin.

  5. That every individual has been born into sin and they themselves have sinned, falling short of the glory of God, and as such every man, woman and child needs to be saved from their sin in order to have a relationship with God, to be made righteous in His sight and to inherit eternal life with God in heaven.

  6. Being that all are dead in sin, every man, woman and child must be saved by grace which comes not from from the works any person can perform, but only by the unearned and unmerited favor of God who calls that person onto salvation, that they would believe in the Name of Jesus Christ by the enabling of the Holy Spirit and be saved.

  7. That when a person is born again from above, that he or she becomes a new creature in Christ--that the old passes away and the new comes.

  8. That the evidence of salvation is the Holy Spirit working in our lives to conform us to the image of Jesus and although works cannot save us, good works will be evidenced in our lives because of the Holy Spirit working in us and that some of the assurances of our salvation are:

    • That upon being born again a desire if placed within us to tell others about Jesus Christ.

    • That as a new person in Christ, we walk in the Light and no longer walk in the darkness. This means that over time a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ will become more transparent and less hidden.

    • That as a new person in Christ, the believer desires fellowship with the saints of God more than he or she desires to fellowship with wicked and evil people.

    • That daily the follower of Christ becomes more sensitive to sin in his or her own life and desires to live a righteous life free from sin.

    • That when the follower of Christ does sin, he or she acknowledges and confesses the sin to Jesus so that He may forgive them that sin and cleanse them from all unrighteousness.

    • That the follower of Christ obeys Jesus and the commandments that He presents in His Holy Word the Bible.

    • That we desire to not become followers and imitators of the world, but that by the enabling of God the Holy Spirit we live our lives in the manner that Jesus lived His, being transformed and conformed into His image.

    • That the follower of Christ walks in the love of Christ.

  9. That the gifts of the Holy Spirit found in Scripture are active in the body of Christ today and are given for the edification of the church so that saints of God would be equipped for every good work.

  10. That Jesus Christ will return and that at that time there will be a final judgment. Those who reject Christ in this life will suffer eternal punishment and those who accept and follow Christ in this life will find in Christ, eternal life in paradise.
